Meet Kylee, The Kidpreneur, She's taking community service to the next level!
Hi, I’m Kylee James aka Kylee the Kidpreneur! I’m beyond excited to share an unforgettable moment in my journey: winning my very first business grant at the 2025 ULGLA Dreamcatcher Awards! 
This wasn’t just about recognition, it was about standing in a room full of powerful changemakers, feeling inspired, supported, and motivated to keep building something bigger than myself.
From diaper drives to senior tech workshops, my mission has always been to use my business as a platform to serve. Community service isn’t just something I do, it’s part of who I am. I’ve been blessed to give back in ways that have reached people around the world, and thanks to Urban League of Greater Atlanta Young Professionals and the support of amazing people like Ms. Rashidah Jones, I’m now able to take my mission even further.

A NIGHT TO REMEMBER
The night of the awards ceremony felt like a dream. From the moment I walked in, I knew this would be a core memory for life. The dinner was something out of a five star restaurant- fresh garden salad, creamy mac and cheese, juicy fried chicken, and perfectly baked salmon. Every bite reminded me that this moment was worth celebrating.
But the real magic wasn’t just on the plate, it was in the people!
I was surrounded by trailblazers, leaders, and fellow dreamers. Everyone in that room had one thing in common: a heart for service and a vision for change. And being one of the youngest in the room, I realized something important…

That moment hit me hard. It reminded me that impact doesn’t always have to be loud. It just has to be intentional. The people in that room were using what they had, talent, time, resources, and passion to pour into their communities and create ripple effects of change. And I felt honored to be one of them.
Before the night ended, All DreamCatchers were called to the stage for a finale surprise!
Each recipient also received a laptop, to help us further our mission both in school and in business!

What’s Next for Me?
With the help of this grant, I’m preparing to expand my reach, create more community service projects, and continue my mission to pay it forward one T-shirt, one donation, one act of kindness at a time.
I’m walking away from this experience more empowered than ever to chase my dreams, build with purpose, and inspire the next wave of young changemakers.
